Stranded in NYC: Blizzard of 2016

Post-Gazette theater and pop culture writer Sharon Eberson went via plane to New York City for the first annual BroadwayCon Jan. 22-24. Forecasters were calling for Winter Storm Jonas to drop 12-18 inches of snow by Saturday when she touched down on Thursday afternoon. Broadway shows were canceled Saturday night, traffic was banned and airports closed. Instead of leaving Sunday morning, she was forced to leave at 10 p.m. Monday night. Here’s how she managed the time and navigated the streets of midtown Manhattan during and after the Blizzard of 2016.
