Federal investigation into Pittsburgh:
The players, the money and the federal probe
Over the past several months, details have emerged about financial mismanagement, theft and possible misappropriation of funds throughout the Pittsburgh police bureau. As that investigation has progressed, federal authorities have begun looking into matters closer to the mayor's office -- calling his bodyguards and senior secretary before the grand jury, obtaining documents related to his home renovations and asking questions about URA lot leases.
