1877 Point Bridge across the Mon

Circa 1920: The 1877 Point Bridge crossed the Monongahela River at mile 0 and was in operation from 1877 until 1924.

In 1927, it was replaced by the new Point Bridge. The new Point Bridge was in use for more than 30 years until the Fort Pitt Bridge replaced it in 1959.
