It was never the biggest, nor did it have the most taps.<\/p>\n<p>But there aren&#8217;t many other places in town <a href=\"http:\/\/newsinteractive.post-gazette.com\/beerme\/allegheny\/b-ing-even-more-local-at-bocktown\/\">that have done as much for local craft brewers<\/a>, especially the guys who are just starting out. There would&#8217;t be many places that have done more to make\u00a0craft beer accessible for\u00a0those\u00a0giving them a try for the first time.<\/p>\n<p>And I\u00a0don&#8217;t think there is anyone who has done as much to help me get to know craft beer and the people who have built our incredible community here.<\/p>\n<p>Difficulties with her lease led <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bocktown.com\/b-log\/cheers\/end-of-the-bocktown-era\/\">Chris Dilla to announce the closure of the original Bocktown<\/a>. But my hope\u00a0is that it won&#8217;t be long before she&#8217;s back in the business in one way or another.<\/p>\n<p>It looks like you have through the end of the month to grab one last beer at Bocktown and give Chris your best wishes.
