People were lining up down the block to join Klavon’s Ice Cream Parlor in the Strip District in ringing in the 2020 new year, 1920s style. The parlor, which opened in 1923, is turning back the clocks and prices to when ice cream cones cost a penny, five cents for a sundae, a dime for a banana split. The event continues through Friday, Jan. 3.<\/p>\n
