They were being prepared for a group of more than 40 Woodland Hills High School administrators, teachers and staff that volunteered to deliver each sign. Today’s effort, arranged by the Caileigh Lynn McDowell Foundation and the Woodland Hills High School leadership, delivered senior celebratory signs donated by the foundation for all graduating seniors who would not be able to have a normal graduation due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The Caileigh Lynn McDowell Foundation, named after Caileigh Lynn McDowell who passed away in 2016 during her senior year due to undiagnosed Crohn\u2019s Disease, is an an organization working to transform political, social and economic systems and institutions. Lori McDowell, Caileigh’s mother, held a sign and waved as the volunteers honked and drove out of the school parking lot on their way to make their deliveries.<\/p>\n
<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" data-attachment-id=\"17547\" data-permalink=\"https:\/\/newsinteractive.post-gazette.com\/photos\/2020\/05\/20\/surprise-for-graduating-seniors\/senior-celbaratory-lawn-signs-10\/\" data-orig-file=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/newsinteractive.post-gazette.com\/photos\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/5\/2020\/05\/20200520MMSSeniorSigns10.jpg?fit=2560%2C1706&ssl=1\" data-orig-size=\"2560,1706\" data-comments-opened=\"0\" data-image-meta=\"{"aperture":"5.6","credit":"Michael M.
