Through January 2022, 45 players in the NHL have scored 500 or more goals. Of those, nine\u00a0players were former Pittsburgh Penguins, and three of them scored their 500th goal as a Penguin.<\/p>\n

They were: Mario Lemieux<\/strong> (Oct. 26, 1995, against Tommy Soderstrom in goal for the New York Islanders), Joe Mullen<\/strong> (March 14, 1997, against Patrick Roy in goal for the Colorado Avalanche) and Mark Recchi<\/strong> (Jan. 26, 2007, against Marty Turco in goal for the Dallas Stars)<\/p>\n
