For fourteen years the Neighborhood Academy’s men’s basketball team, from Stanton Heights, has prepared Thanksgiving dinner at the Rainbow Kitchen in Homestead. <\/p>\n

On Thanksgiving Day the team arrives at 9 a.m. to help setup and dress in their clean, white chef coats to serve meals from 11 a.m. till 1 p.m. <\/p>\n

Rev. Tom Johnson, headmaster and coach, said that the meal included: turkey, gravy stuffing, yams, biscuits, broccoli casserole and a wide selection of pies. <\/p>\n
