At at T.A. Giger Deer Processing in Middlesex Twp., Butler Co., Nathan Zubik begins the process of cutting up the carcass of a deer shot on opening day of the 2016 rifle hunting season for the animals. <\/p>\n

Tim Giger, owner of the processing station, last year handled 68 deer on opening day.<\/p>\n

In past years, he’s processed as many as 125.<\/p>\n

Giger once worked in the steel industry and began his deer processing business in 1999.<\/p>\n
