In April 2018, Pittsburgh Post-Gazette readers nominated their favorite local businesses including restaurants, service providers and entertainment venues to compete to become a Pittsburgh Fan Favorite. With more than 40,000 nominations in four geographic regions - North, South, East and West, nearly 200,000 votes were cast and the winners were announced in June.
