May 1, 1972: Nate Smith, Rev. Jesse Jackson and Ewari ‘Ed’ Ellis on the Boulevard of the Allies before the first annual Black Solidarity Fair at the Civic Arena.  Mr. Ellis was a local artist, community organizer and co-founder, with Mr. Smith, of the Black Solidarity Fair.
