Oct. 28, 1941: Duquesne coach Buff Donelli, left, kept a close eye on drills (sans helmets) during an autumn practice. The Dukes finished the 1941 season undefeated. Donelli, a Duquesne graduate, made history as the only man to coach a college team and an NFL squad at the same time. Later, he coached at Boston University and Columbia University. He died at age 87 in 1994.
