Pitt Stadium razed

Feb. 16, 2000:  After 74 years as home to the Pittsburgh Panthers football team, Pitt Stadium was razed to make room for the Petersen Events Center. Little more than the facade remained when Post-Gazette photographer Darrell Sapp visited the site on a cold February morning.
