Hmmm, we thought. We\u2019ve seen this before. Pittsburgh was once the smog champion. Here\u2019s proof: a picture of the Wabash Bridge, shot at noon on what The Pittsburgh Press described as \u201cone of the worst smog days in the city\u2019s history.\u201d A headline above this picture explained, \u201cNot a moonlit scene nor a bad picture.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The sun-blocking smoke is long gone. So is the Wabash Bridge.
