Apr. 22, 2008:<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0\u00a0During his campaign stop in Pittsburgh, Sen. Barack Obama visited Pamela\u2019s restaurant in the Strip District. What do you think he ordered? Pancakes that were really, really good.<\/p>\n

“These really were maybe the best pancakes I\u2019ve tasted in a very long time. Get some take-out,” he directed the reporters.”You don\u2019t even need syrup on them. They\u2019ve got [these] crispy edges. Yea, they are really good.”<\/p>\n

At the end of Mr. Obama\u2019s visit to Pamela\u2019s, someone gave him a Terrible Towel, which, \u201cwith a fierce grin,\u201d as Post-Gazette described it, \u201che waved over his head a few times.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
