North<\/strong>
\nCranberry Highlands<\/strong> (724-776-7372) \u2013 A Bill Love design that is one of the best munis you\u2019ll find anywhere. Great value.
\nBirdsfoot<\/strong> (724-295-3656) \u2013 Located closest to Oakmont, an Ault & Clark design that won\u2019t disappoint.
\nPittsburgh National<\/strong> (724-265-4800) \u2013 Great layout, challenging par-3s and a covered bridge to boot.<\/p>\n

South<\/strong>
\nHickory Heights<\/strong> (412-257-0300) \u2013 Michael Hurdzan-designed layout that puts a premium on target golf.
\nLindenwood<\/strong> (724-745-9889) \u2013 Popular public facility with 27 holes that are solid, not spectacular.
\nCedarbrook<\/strong> (724-929-8300) \u2013 Two 18-hole courses for your choosing and a flat rate of $25 on weekdays. Great conditions.<\/p>\n

West<\/strong>
\nOlde Stonewall<\/strong> (724-752-4653) \u2013 Steep greens fee, but well worth the money. Best daily-fee facility in Western Pennsylvania.
\nQuicksilver<\/strong> (724-796-1594) \u2013 Long and tough, former home to Champions Tour and Web.com Tour events in the 1990s.
\nClub at Shadow Lakes<\/strong> (724-375-5511) \u2013 It has the look and feel of a private club, mainly because it was.
