Pens defeat Lighting 2-1, advance to Stanley Cup finals

We can all breathe easy this morning and bask in the glory of a victory. But last night — oh, the drama. In the last several minutes of the Eastern Conference final between the Pens and the Tampa Bay Lightning, tension was thick and soupy. Would we finally win a Game 7? Veteran hockey fans say they’ve never heard so much noise in arena. When the final seconds ticked away, pandemonium reigned. The Pens, 2-1 winners last night, are headed to the Stanley Cup finals to face San Jose.
