Sukkah

People visit with each other and eat snacks during a visit to the sukkah, a temporary shelter with a roof that is partially open to the sky used to celebrate the weeklong Jewish holiday Sukkot, in the yard of Rabbi Yisroel Altein, of Chabad of Squirrel Hill, Tuesday, Oct. 6, 2020. In past years Rabbi Altein would host large gatherings of several families at the sukkah, but this year due to COVID-19 precautions, he’s inviting families to visit in 30 minute shifts to maintain social distance.
