Michael Rosfeld, a former East Pittsburgh police officer, was on trial for one count of criminal homicide in connection with the June 19, 2018, fatal shooting death of Antwon Rose II, 17, of Rankin. Antwon, who was unarmed, was fleeing after Mr. Rosfeld pulled over the jitney in which he was riding. The vehicle matched the description of one involved in a drive-by shooting 13 minutes earlier in North Braddock. Mr. Rosfeld shot Antwon three times -- in his face, elbow and back.
