Metaling around with the traditional tannenbaum on Nov. 27, 1973, the folks at U..S.. Steel came up with a 60-foot Òtree of trees,Ó here being topped with the Òstar.Ó A 22-foot Norway spruce. The 336 remaining pipe sleeves will be covered with smaller trees. The tree will be a highlife of the annual Christmas Choral Festival slated at the U.S. Steel Building..
