The new fountain on the plaza of U.S. Steel building Downtown, was officially dedicated on Weds, May 7, 1975. As shown from this view from William Penn Hotel, the fountain attracted several hundred office workers at its base and many others who can be seen peeking from, windows of the 64-story structure along Grant Street.
