By Mayor William Peduto and the O’Connor family held a Tribute to Mayor Bob O’Connor ceremony outside the City-County Building today.
The O’Connor family requested to have as many former colleagues, staff members, constituents and friends of Bob O’Connor as possible in attendance for the tribute. Remarks were given by O’Connor family members and Mayor Peduto. Larry Richert emceed.
Bob O’Connor was the 58th Mayor of the City of Pittsburgh and served as Mayor from January 3, 2006 until September 1, 2006. Prior to serving as Mayor, Bob O’Connor served as a member of City Council from 1992-2003. The tribute ceremony is being held on the 10th anniversary of Mayor Bob O’Connor’s passing.
