Steel Valley’s Starry Night-themed prom

The Waterfront Shopping Center hosted a prom night to remember for Steel Valley high school students.

A Starry Night-themed prom was held under Homestead Grays Bridge on June 23, 2020.

A prom night was kept alive for Steel Valley seniors this year that was organized by several dedicated parents and SimpliCity Events.

The time-honored school tradition was held outdoors, under the illuminated Homestead Grays bridge.

“We are beyond thrilled to host this special evening for our local school students,” said Emily Wittmer, marketing director at The Waterfront. “Prom night is a memory you can’t get back, and unfortunately, many high schoolers are missing their chance this year. We’re so fortunate to be able to provide a unique space and help the students of Steel Valley bring this event to life.”
