Lemieux, Recchi and Mullen scored their 500th goal as a Penguin

Through January 2022, 45 players in the NHL have scored 500 or more goals. Of those, nine players were former Pittsburgh Penguins, and three of them scored their 500th goal as a Penguin.

They were: Mario Lemieux (Oct. 26, 1995, against Tommy Soderstrom in goal for the New York Islanders), Joe Mullen (March 14, 1997, against Patrick Roy in goal for the Colorado Avalanche) and Mark Recchi (Jan. 26, 2007, against Marty Turco in goal for the Dallas Stars)
