Kennywood Holiday Lights and Artsy Bike Racks

Workers are testing the light display in advance of “Holiday Lights” at Kennywood park which opens this Friday night, Nov. 27. This is Kennywood’s 5th season of Christmas lights with 1.5 million lights and a new 90 foot tree all lit. The show runs Friday – Sunday weekends until Dec. 27th weather permitting (check their website) and closed Christmas. (John Heller/Post-Gazette)

Artist Brandon Boan’s public art bike rack “Hot Pants” can be seen in front of Sienna Mercato on Penn Ave. The Cultural District announced twelve new artist designed bike racks along Penn Ave. from 11th Street to Stanwix.

Brett Yasko’s public art bike rack, “For Nate & Jakob” can be seen near the corner of Penn and 7th.

Artist Myra Falisz’s public art bike rack “Time Travelin’ Mike” can be seen in front of Seviche on Penn Ave.
