Crosby surprises ‘Little Penguins’

The “Little Penguins” got quite the surprise today.

About 100 children taking part in Sidney Crosby’s Little Penguins Learn to Play Hockey were treated to a special visit by the captain himself and some other Penguins players.

“It’s great, I think the fact that Sid has his name on this and he’s donating his time is fantastic,” Penguins player Ian Cole, who took part in the surprise, said. “A lot of these kids are pretty good players for being new to the game.”

The event, which was held at the UPMC Lemieux Sports Complex in Cranberry, is in its ninth year.
