Beaver County’s 55th Annual Snow Shovel Race Championship at Old Economy Park

According to a press release on the event, “The rules are simple: Sit or lay on a shovel, then push off from starting line and remain on the shovel while sliding down the 165’ hill to the finish line.” It also says each contestant gets two timed runs downhill, except in the modified class which only gets one run.
