Pirates trade Starling Marte to Diamondbacks

On Monday, January 27, 2020, the Pirates traded Starling Marte to the Arizona Diamondbacks in exchange for shortstop Liover Peguero and pitcher Brennan Malone — in addition to $250,000 in international pool money.
