The statue of Christopher Columbus, outside Phipps Conservatory and Botanical Gardens, was vandalized with paint, Friday, June 12, 2020 in Schenley Park of Pittsburgh. This isn’t the first time for the bronze statue by Frank Vittor and the barre granite base carved by his brother Anthony Vittor. The statue was dedicated in 1958.
