Work continues on Monday, Oct. 24, 2022, on the roof of St. Boniface Catholic Church on the North Side after it was struck by lightning on Sunday, August 21, 2022. About 100 people were in the church around 8:45 a.m. when the church was hit by lightning, damaging the historic building’s dome, blowing off roof tiles, and knocking out the lights inside.
