Melissa Tkach has been at the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette since the late 90s, full-time since March 4, 2000. She has worked as an agate clerk in the sports deptartment, on the web the first time publishing stories, then back to sports a second time as a copy editor/paginator from the fall of 2003 to the fall of 2006, then back to the web a second time as a homepage editor and publisher for eight months and then finally to multimedia producer of video and audio.
